You were the top student in your school, the best at everything.
Everything except math.
You hated the subject with a passion. Not only did you think it was frustratingly tedious, you also had a hard time understanding certain formulas.
You only hated one thing more than math, and that was a very pompous person.
He was always making fun of how you failed miserably in math. Sadly, the rest of the student body felt he had the right to taunt you, seeing as he had the best math grades.
"Just iknore him ______." Your best friend Natalia rolled her eyes. "Se guy is a total jack-ass."
You shrugged, glaring at your math text book.
"Yeah.......Don't.....pay... attention.....to him." Heracles mumbled, his head resting on a textbook.
You pursed your lips, "He's the only thing I hate more then math."
Natalia let out a sharp laugh, "Vow, sat's saying a lot. Sucks to be him." She twirled a lock of her ash blonde hair around her finger.
Heracles gave a snorting laugh, "You know that there's a fine line between Love and Hate."
You and Natalia both stared at him, blank looks on your face.
"Please, like sat vill ever happen." Natalia smirked, nudging you with her elbow. Heracles laughed in agreement.
"He's just an ass." You grimaced. Both Natalia and Heracles froze, staring at something behind you.
"I hope you're not referring to me in such a manner." A familiar accented voice sounded over your shoulder.
You looked up and glared at the form of your enemy.
"Shouldn't you be making out with your math text book?"
Behind you Natalia snorted, trying not to laugh. Heracles let out a small chuckle, patting your arm.
Arthur frowned, his emerald eyes glittered angrily. You smirked, and made a shooing motion with your hand.
"Well? What do you want?"
Arthur let out a long suffering sigh. You scowled and arched an eyebrow.
"Mr.Oxenstierna asked me to tutor you in math."
Your jaw dropped, "Bull shit." Behind you Natalia started shaking with silent laughter.
"I'm not kidding." He was completely serious. You rolled your eyes and bit back the curses that wanted to spill forth.
"I'll be at your place at seven."
You watched him walk away, frowning at what he had said.
"Wait a minute. How the hell does he know where I live?!"
There was another reason you didn't like him. He gave off a creepy feeling, like he was constantly watching you.
In school you didn't get that feeling as much, but when you were at home, all alone, the feeling increased ten-fold.
You disguised your fear as hate.
The doorbell rang. You ignored it, hoping that Arthur would think that you weren't home.
"Open up, _____. I know your home."
Wow, stalker much?
Sighing you got up and opened the door. Arthur glared at you, a book bag in his arms. Crossing your arms, you leaned against the door frame.
"Why don't you go home Arthur."
"I can't." He shoved the bag into your arms and walked past you. Following him into the living room, you tossed the bag onto the couch.
For the next three hours Arthur drilled you on math formulas.
"I've had enough!" You shouted, flipping the math book off the table. Arthur scowled, picking it off the floor.
"Well too bad. If you don't learn this, you could flunk college."
"Why do you care?" Leaning back, you stretched your arms above your head. You didn't see
Arthur blush slightly.
"Because I won't have a rival anymore."
You looked at him frowning. "Rival? Seriously?"
Arthur grit his teeth, twisting the hem of his sweater vest. You blinked, realizing that he was blushing.
"Are you feeling alright? Do you have a fever or something?"
He shook his head, the blush deepening. Narrowing your eyes, you reached out and snatched the book away.
"P-please do the problem on page 145." Arthur stuttered, reaching up and tugging on a lock of his shaggy hair.
You flipped to the page and froze. Scrawled across the page was
I love you
Blushing you looked up at Arthur. "Is this some kind of a joke?"
Only he wasn't there. Your eyes widened when warm breath tickled the back of your neck.
"Yes Love?" You shivered when his lips brushed against the back of your neck.
Turning to face him, you felt your face flare bright red. He stared back, waiting for you to say something.
"Did Mr.Oxenstierna really ask you to tutor me?"
He shook his head, smirking.
"Have you been stalking me or something?"
Arthur tilted his head to the side and winked, "That's for me to know and you to find out."
You paled, noticing that his hair started to go strawberry blonde. The green in his eyes melted away into a swirling blue and pink. You stood up and backed away, he followed at a cat like pace.
"Why don't we play a game love?"
