Birthday Girl
----------------------------------------------------------------
"Please Luddy!" You pouted up at the tall German. He scowled, crossing his arms.
"I don't know ____. I really don't like people in zere." His cheeks turned pink.
You stared at him.
He stared back.
"Jesus Luddy. It's not like it's your porn closet. It's just your kitchen." You huffed, rolling your eyes.
His face flushed red. "I don't have a....... FINE." He moved so you could walk past him. You smirked, waltzing into his kitchen.
You had come to Ludwig's mainly because he had the best equipped kitchen you had ever seen. And you liked to have everything at your finger tips when baking a cake.
Who was the cake for?
You of course. It was your birthday.
"Oh, um Happy Birzday ______." Ludwig held out a tiny package. "Feliciano und I got zis for you."
You hugged the big man, smiling. "Thanks Luddy, you really didn't have to do that!"
He blushed, mumbled something, then left the room. You opened the package and smiled. They had gotten you a little charm bracelet with a kitty on it. Trust Feli to know exactly what to get.
Slipping the bracelet onto your wrist, you picked up an apron.
Time to get to work.
----Time skip-----
You weren't a very tidy cook. By the time the cake was in the oven to bake, sugar, flour and orange juice.
"Mein Gott." Ludwig's face was slightly green "I hope zat you vill be ze one cleaning zat up."
"Yup." You licked orange juice off your fingers. "Right after I ice the cake."
He visibly paled at the thought of his kitchen becoming even dirtier. Shaking his head, Ludwig walked past you, into the living room.
"I'm going to fill out some papervork."
You stuck out your tongue, stirring the orange chocolate icing.
Ludwig was always working, and when he wasn't he was training. The only time he actually relaxed was when he was sleeping.
He was insanely cute when he was sleeping. But you could never tell him that.
The oven timer dinged, You grinned, pulling the steaming pan out of the oven.
Twenty minutes later it was iced and ready to eat.
Something was missing.
You frowned placing your hands on your hips. Maybe Ludwig had sprinkles.
----Time skip----
After searching all of the cabinets you hand't found any. Shrugging you went up stairs.
"I'm going out to by sprinkles, Luddy. No eating the cake......" You let your words trail off, grinning.
Ludwig had his head in his arms, his glasses slightly askew on his face. Sleeping like a baby. Paper work was scattered across his desk in large piles.
Giggling to yourself, you ran into the nearest bedroom, pulling a blanket off the bed you ran back to Ludwig and wrapped it around his shoulders.
He grumbled something, his hand twitching. A few papers fluttered to the floor.
You picked them up, not sure which piles to put them in.
"Uhn, Sorry ______." Ludwig blinked sleepy, taking the papers out of your hands. "I must have fallen asleep."
He sighed, pushing his glasses back into place.
"Take a break Luddy." You placed your hand over his, the braclet sliding down your wrist,
"Let's eat cake!"
He shook his head, a few strands of his blonde hair falling over his face.
You pouted, crossing your arms "You know what?"
Ludwig looked up from his paper work, slightly startled.
"Vhat?"
You grabbed his hand, pulling him out of his chair.
"It's my Birthday and my Birthday wish is to eat cake with you!"
Ludwig blinked, his face turning red.
He nodded "Alright."
---Time skip----
"You must really like chocolate ________." Ludwig licked icing off his fingers. You nodded.
"Best thing in the world." You mumbled around a mouthful of cake. He smiled softly, absentmindedly running his fingers over his iron cross.
"Vhy did you say zhat your Birzday vish was to eat cake vith me?"
You blushed slightly and shrugged. "Besides Feli, you're my best friend."
Ludwig's eyes went wide, a faint blush dusted his cheeks.
"Danke, liebe." Reaching across the table he grabbed your hand and gave it a gently squeeze.
