I Am Awesome
"________." Your sister called up the stairs "There's a package on the-----."
You leapt down the stairs, past your sister and out the door before she could finish her sentence.
What had gotten you so excited?
Your Hetalia Prussia bag.
Your friends though you were stupid for being obsessed with an Anime Character. They were ones to talk, half the movie stars they liked you found down right repulsive.
You ran back inside, up the stairs and into your room. Ripping the package open, you smiled.
"______! I'm leaving for work!" Your sister called up the stairs.
" 'K!" You hung the bag on a hook near your closet door, right next to your Italy bag.
"It looks AWESOME!!" You sang the last word, grinning.
"Ja, It really does." A familiar accented voice piped up.
Turning around slowly, you gaped at the figure sprawled across your bed. It was Prussia, or an extremely good cosplayer. You doubted the second, mainly because you hadn't heard anyone enter your room.
"P-P-Prussia?" You squeaked.
He grinned, nodding, Gilbird peeping out of his hair.
"Ja Ja. I know zat my Awesome-ness is hard for someone so un-awesome to process. Please don't fangirl out on me or anyzing."
You bit your bottom lip to keep from squealing.
Getting off the bed he stood next to you, admiring the bag. His crimson eyes glittering with amusement.
"Even if ze animation doesn't capture my entire Awesome-ness, zis is still pretty awesome." Prussia mused, rubbing his chin.
"Why are you so calm about this?"
"About vat?" He tilted his head slightly, Gilbird copied the motion.
"Being in a different dimension."
"It happens to me alot." Prussia slung an arm over your shoulder, still admiring the bag. You blushed.
"Does it happen to the others?" You looked up at him, frowning.
Prussia shrugged, "I dunno. I zink Vest is too much of a hard ass to be transported to ozer vorlds."
The was a moment of silence.
"Sooooooooo. Frau." He looked down at you, perfectly serious.
"You zink I can stay here until I go back?"
Your blush deepened.
"I don't really know. How would I explain you to my parents?"
Speaking of which, it was a good thing they were still at work.
He snorted. "No need for explanations. My Awesomeness vill do ze talking."
You highly doubted that your parents would except his "Awesomness" as a reliably reason to let him stay. Prussia noticed your doubtful expression and pouted. (Which you thought was extremely cute.)
"Or you can zink of a better idea." He scratched his head, grimacing slightly. Gilbird peeped.
A better idea? Geez, like what?
Hey Mom, Dad, You know that anime I watch? Well one of the characters just appeared out of nowhere. Can he stay?
With your luck, your parents would ship you of to your Grandmother. Not where you wanted to be.
"I could hide in your closet." Prussia grinned, waggling his eyebrows. You blushed and shook your head.
"How long does it take for you to go back?" He shrugged.
"I dunno sometimes zree days, sometimes zhree months."
Three days to three months? You could probably hide him for three days, but three months? Out of the question.
"I dunno what to do." Your shoulders slumped.
Prussia frowned, "Don't look so unawesome! Ve'll figure somezing out!" Gilbird cheeped in agreement.
Three hours had passed and neither of you could come up with a good reason for him to stay. To make matters worse, your parents were home, totally oblivious to the fact that you had a guy in your room.
"Do you zink I could use ze bazroom?" Prussia grimaced, Gilbird orbiting his head.
"Across the hall. Just don't let anyone see you." You pointed out the door, he nodded and rushed out.
Great, just great.
You could probably hide him in the shed. As long as no one saw him when he came in to eat or use the bathroom. It might help if----
Your train of thought was brought to a screeching halt when your sister poked her head in the room.
"Why is an Anime guy in our bathroom?"
You turned pale, then red. "Uh, um He's not an anime guy." She raised an eyebrow, "Uh huh. Then why does he look like the guy on the bag?"
"Because I am Awesome." Prussia had snuck up behind, grinning like an idiot. Your sister blushed bright red.
"Uh, um Y-y-your."
Her stuttering fueled the mans massive ego.
"AWESOME. I know." He struck a dramatic pose, Gilbird was still orbiting his head.
"Please don't tell Mom and Dad! He's just going to be here until he can go back!"
"Go back where?"
"Um...Hetalia world?" You shrugged, not knowing what to say.
"Fine!" Your sister smirked, "But you owe me. BIG time."
"It's just a frickin' shed Prussia."
"It's so Un-Awesome...."
"You're scared of a shed?" You crossed your arms, you had been arguing with him for over an hour. Although it was pretty creepy, you hated the thing.
"Nooooooo. It's just...." He mumbled something in German, pouting.
"Can I sleep viz you?" Prussia grimaced, his red eyes serious.
You crawled into bed, the Prussian following you.
"You try anything and I'll break your fingers."
"Isn't zat a little--"
"I mean it."
He wrapped his arms about your waist. "Zis is ok? Right."
Your face turned red. Although you tried to suppress it, you couldn't help it.
You fan girl squealed.
