Going to a new school was always awkward, always a hassle. And you hated it.
You stared at the glowering faces of your new classmates. Yeah, just like the teacher said. You were really welcome here. After all, death glares and 'I'm going to beat the shit outta you.' looks were normal.
Yeah totally welcome, all that was missing was the giant cake with the words, "FUCK OFF" on it.
One student actually smiled at you his red eyes twinkling. And then he ruined it by making an extremely perverted gesture.
Great. And to think that the only reason you were here was because your mother love the uniform. Just great.
Every class you went to that day had you go through the humiliation of introducing yourself. Each time you endured the glares of the other students.
At lunch, you sat in the bathroom, not feeling ready to deal with the stares of the other students. It was what you always did. At least until you were ignored by the other students. Then you would become the quite ghost of a girl who drifted around the school.
However it seemed that in this school, that plan wasn't going to work. It wasn't until the next day that you realized it.
In the hallways, you were constantly tripped. The students didn't laugh out right, but you could see the mirth in their eyes. You knew one reason they might pick on you, the fact that you were new to Gauken High.
Your binders often went missing from your locker, re-appearing in the girls bathroom. You carried everything around, not wanting to have your items taken away.
As you were tripped for the seventieth time, you fell to your knees. Hitting the cold linoleum, you bit your lip, trying not to cry.
"Stop it-a you guys!!" You looked up, surprised. Someone had spoken up for you. A small boy about your age stood next you. His fists clenched and his bottom lip trembling. He had light reddish-brown hair and a strange curl.
Turning, he helped you up, shooting glares at the other students. They backed off slightly. Not from the ferocity of his glare, but rather because of the tall, muscle bound man standing next to him.
Still holding your hand, the boy hurried towards the library, tugging you along. You followed uncertainly, wondering why he was being nice to you. The tall blonde also followed, glowering around at people.
The library was vacant except for a quiet Asian boy with black hair. You sat next to your savior, looking at your lap while he smiled at you. You gave him a quick wary smile, turning your attention back to your hands.
"I'm-a really sorry bella!! They don't-a really mean it!!"
He looked like he was ready to cry. You shrugged, not really caring. The tall blonde sat across from you, reading a book.
He held out his hand, you shook it gingerly, "I'm ________."
He smiled then pointed to the other boys. "That's-a Ludwig and-a Kiku!"
You nodded to them, not knowing what to say.
Over the next several weeks, Feliciano pestered you. He did everything he could to stop the bullying and become your friend. Rather grudgingly, you allowed him to draw close and become your friend.
"Okay guys! Let's-a play Truth-or-a-Dare!" Feli squealed. You grinned and glanced at Ludwig. He looked very uncomfortable, trying to avoid Feliciano's gaze. Kiku looked like he was trying not to smile.
Feliciano made puppy eyes, pushing out his lower lip. You laughed, reaching out to ruffle his hair. He smiled at you, then turned back to Ludwig.
"Oi!! Ludvig. You und your unawesome nerds need to clear out!!" A loud voice barked. Three boys entered the room, the one in the lead smirking. It was the pervy boy who had winked at you.
"Get your little useless boyfriend outta here."
The white haired youth smirked, flicking a finger in Feli's direction. You scowled as Feli flinched. It wasn't the boyfriend comment, but rather the useless comment. Feli was very insecure about that.
Before you could think. You had stood up and slapped him across the face. He stumbled backwards, crimson eyes wide.
"Feliciano is NOT usless!"
He gaped at you as did the others in the room. You glared, arms crossed. The albino boy sneered, turning and stomping into the other room. His two friends followed, shooting apologetic looks at you and Feliciano.
You and Feli had become targets. Targets of The BTT. The initials might have meant "Bad touch trio." but you preferred "Bitchy Trollish Twats."
Not that you would say it to their faces. But it was tempting, very very tempting. But you wouldn't do something like that and you certainly wouldn't tape a sign on their lockers with that. You had just written them, Kiku was the one who had taped them to the lockers. (The guy moved like a ninja.)
"VAT ZE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM!!!" Ludwig's door flew open and the albino came in, a torn paper clenched in his fist. You looked up from the board game you, Feli and Ludwig were playing.
He grabbed your collar and dragged you towards a different room. You stumbled behind him, glaring. Slamming you up against the wall, he glowered.
You glared back, reaching up to pry his fingers from your collar.
"Why are you doing zis?"
"Why are you picking on me a Feli?"
He blinked, then a faint blush crossed his cheeks. You narrowed your eyes and sighed. He looked away, lips pursed.
"I'll stop if you stop. A truce." He didn't look at you, fist clenched. You waited. It was funny even though he was the older of the Beilschmidt, he was younger looking then Ludwig and he acted immature.
"You hit me in front of my friends."
"You deserved it." You snorted as he looked at you with a shocked expression. Then he smirked.
"You've got a lot of spunk frau. I like it."
Reaching out he tugged on a lock of your hair. Then he gave you a real smile, one that made you feel strange. Strange in a good way.
"I zink I vant to get to know you better."
You blushed and slapped his hand away. "Lose the pervy act."
He grinned and followed you back to Ludwig's room. "You know you like it Frau."
And you did. But he would never know that. His ego was big enough as it was.
