Museum of Time
That was the first thing you felt. The burning pain all over. Almost as if you had been dragged through gravel and bits of glass, then left to bleed out.
When you opened your eyes it seemed that everything was normal. To your pain and sleep befuddled mind, everything was the way you had left it when you had fallen asleep last night. Only for a moment the feeling of safety stayed, allowing you to ignore what was wrong.
Three things alerted you to what was wrong. The first two where small, barely noticeable except to some one such as yourself.
The first was that the paint of the ceiling of your room. It wasn't cracked or worn looking, in fact it looked recently painted, which wasn't possible. You had fallen asleep looking up at the cracks and now had woken up to find them gone.
You noticed the second thing when you sat up. Your room was clean. You normally cleaned your room, but this was
Kiku's hands shook as he lifted the worn wooden bucket. The precious sea water within sloshed over the sides, a few drops splattering the scuffed stone beneath his tabi socks.
It wasn't his first time preforming this duty. He had preformed the ritual countless number of times, but each time he had had his fathers critical gaze to steady his hands.
Now, however, he was alone, frightened of messing up, unsure if he would preform it correctly.
If he messed up, it would be on his head and at a terrible price, The secret his entire village strove to protect would be ruined.
Water trickled slowly into the shallow bowl, Kiku watched, barely breathing. It was only after the job had been preformed without any mishaps that he let himself breath freely.
Once home, he found a strange yearning to return to the temple, and the item that lay in the crystal bowl.
He ignored the feeling, as he had done a countless number of time
You were just about to point out a cat, when a sudden though hit you, causing your spirits to drop. You didn't have your wallet with you. How where you going to pay the adoption fee? Today really wasn't your day.
Sighing, you explained the situation to Elizabeta, face flaming. She smiled, telling you to come back tomorrow, it was an open house when all the cats were allowed to roam freely in the lobby. Promising to return, you left, feeling slightly disheartened.
Getting into your car, you sat for a moment, wonder what to do next. After a while, you sighed, turning the car towards the nearest fast food place. With any luck, the man you were looking for would be there.
Once again, it seemed like fate had decided to give up on you. You could not find Alfred anywhere. It was strange, usually the American was always in a fast food place, eating the restaurant bare or wolfing down half of a buffet. After giving up on restaur
Prussia:I For some reason, Prussia is now one of my favorite Hetalia characters. I have no idea why :/
You had always been fascinated with the stars. With the idea of thousands of solar systems where out there, each one with it's own sun, or three. However, the idea you loved most, the one that thrilled you was the idea that there was life out there. That just maybe, there was a species who wouldn't mind become friends with humans.
You glanced out the window at the darkening sky and sighed. If only there was a way to contact the outside.
A large white light streaked across the sky. You gaped, eyes wide. Grabbing a pair of binoculars, you threw open the backdoor and pressed them against your face, neck craning backwards to get a better view of the sky.
It was gone. Frowning, you lowered the binoculars and squinted at the sky. There was absolutely no trace of the white light that had streaked across the sky only seconds before.
Your shoulders slumped and you sighed. You must have imagined it somehow, spent too much time s
(Quick note: I have no idea how to pronounce Each-Uisge. It's a Gaelic word and so far I've seen several different ways people say to pronounce the name. I have no idea which one is correct. So yeah.... Pronounce it how you will xD)
Each-Uisge, a water horse and a malevolent water-spirit said to live in the highlands of Scotland. Considered the most terrifying and dangerous creature, the Each-Uisge haunts the lonely inland lochs and often the sea. As a shapeshifter, the Each-Uisge can take different forms, including a fine horse or a handsome man.
Should one be foolish enough to mount the horse, or dare dance with the man, they would quickly find them self plunged in the nearest water source. After drowning it's victims, the Each-Uisge consumes the corpse, leaving only the liver untouched.
You weren't crazy, nor an adrenaline junky. No, you had an unquenchable thirst for dangerous situations and an endless curiosity
You tucked a lock of your hair behind on ear, biting your lower lip in concentration. The tiny wire filled contraption held all of your attention. You moved your wrist slightly, gently picking up on of the looping wires with the tip of the tweezers. Moving it aside, you reached in with a different pair of tweezers and picked the small metal chip that looked out of place nestled beneath the wires.
"Geez, It's-a like you're trying to-a defuse a bomb!!" Across the table, Lovino, your room mate was glaring at the phone. You rolled your eyes and glared right back at him.
"Yeah, well I'm not the paranoid idiot who thinks the Mafia is listening to his phone calls."
"THEY ARE!!" Lovino snapped, a blush staining his cheeks. You just shook your head.
Honestly, the man was so silly sometimes.
Felicano bound into the room, a dopey grin spread across his face.
"You-a guys!! Guess-a whose coming-a over!"
"Better not-a be that-a Potato Bast
Headphones DenmarkxReader (my first songfic)She gave it her best; she tried to fit in,
She tried to be cool, but she never could win,
Her mom says she’s great,
The kids think she’s weird,
Honestly she wish she could disappear.
The music pounded in your ears as you walked slowly down the deserted street. Mostly deserted anyway. There was an occasional homeless person or random shopper or store owner who passed you by. This section of town was at one time quite a popular place. But, like everything else in the world, time passed it by, and eventually it became old and rundown, and the popularity moved to the newest shopping mall.
It somewhat reminded you of yourself. When you were quite small you had been popular. Everyone knew you, everyone loved you. But as you got older, something happened, and you slowly became the outcast you are now. Your clothing didn’t match the sexy s

"You're late!" the shriveled old woman in the chair snorted, looking your way.
"I didn't know there was a set time for me to be here," you retorted, not missing a beat as you moved to hug her.she begrudgingly allowed you to embrace her for a moment.
"Who's that?" she asked, looking towards the door.
You glanced over your shoulder at Francis who had moved into the room looking somewhat hesitant. "Oh, that's...uh... My uh, friend, Francis Bonnefoy," you said.
"Bonjour Madame," Francia said, smiling brightly and bowing with a flourish.
"Well!" the old lady said, smiling mischievously, "Who would ever think that you of all people could get a boyfriend!"
"He's not my boyfriend!" you said a little too loudly, your cheeks heating up. "and what did you mean by that? I can get a boyfriend any time I want one!"
"Sure you can," she ga e Francis one more once over "I guess it's no surprise that he's not your boyfriend. He's much too handsome for you," you rolled your eyes and sat down

"(Name), you need to start wearing skirts, I don't like you wearing jeans so much." said your boyfriend, Mathias. He was always bossing me around, telling me to everything he asked, 'do this' 'do that'! It was annoying. But I couldn't help but not to break up with him. Because of his hair that stick up, his baby-blue eyes, and that toothy grin that makes all the girls faint or drool all over him. He was so handsome, I couldn't break up with him...until that one night at the bar...I saw him cheating on me...
It was when he order me to get a beer for him. When I can back to your table, he was making out with another girl, about your age and weari

For Francis, it was a mostly normal day. Nothing major had happened -yet at least- in work, he'd woken up on time and his hair had even co-operated with him. His designer clothes were wrinkle free, and his light breakfast kept him from feeling hungry.
He was now walking down one of the many hallways in the television station, feeling a little lost. He knew he was in the area the news was produced in but other than that...
Caught up in his thoughts of where to go, he didn't notice someone heading straight for him. The two collided full force in the middle of the hallway, the smaller of the two sent sprawling on her backside, papers flying in all directions.
"Mon Deiu! Are you okay?" Francis said, kneeling down next to the woman.
She looked at him with wide (e/c) eyes, a pair of glasses setting crookedly across her nose.
Francis stared in shock for a moment, unable to make more than "uh" sort of sounds. If this girl didn't have glasses, if her hair was (h/c) and longer and
Break (Pitch BlackXReader) RQ“Pitch-“ you break off, the spittle of the dark sky running down your flushed face, your hands reaching behind you across the sodden ground to crawl away from him, but still facing him.
“Pitch, please.” Your voice wavers, breaking on your second spoken syllable. “It doesn’t have to- have to go like this,” you plead, your own tears mingling with the heavens’. Something sharp sticks into your palm and in your momentary distraction he plants his foot on you. Your stomach lurches and you stare up at the darkness, terrified to see the expression on his face.
“Oh no, I’m afraid it does have to.” He smiles at you in vindictive pleasure, grinding his heel deeper into your stomach. “Why-“ you try to utter, but he snorts before you can even finish the word. “Why? Why?” He crows with laughter but stops as suddenly as he started. “I’ll tell you why, you stupid girl.” The insult doesn&
Fluffed (EstoniaXReader) RQThe incessant sound of tapping was the only thing to break through the quiet. Apart from the sneaky tiptoeing of fluffy-slippered feet on the wooden floor, the silence was complete. Until you decided, anarchist as you were, to break it. “Hey,” you whispered, blowing hot air down your blonde’s neck. Instantly he clapped his hand to the nape of his neck, covering his weak spot.
Instead, you wrapped your arms around his shoulders and kissed him behind his ear. “Is that spot taken?” You asked in a mock-formal tone, gesturing at his lap, upon which his laptop was already humming away. “Nope,” he answered, moving the computer away so you could come to sit in its place.
Once you and your book were all settled down, he went back to doing whatever he did on that damn computer of his. HTML-ing or some different form of coding you had yet to be acquainted with. Both of you settled back down in silence, your head leaning against his chest, your ear pressed
Price of Love- Slave!GreecexRoman!Reader part 5
Heracles stood boredly outside his mistresses room as she dressed inside. She was supposed to be going to a party after she finished getting dressed. He didn't know what he was going to be doing yet. Most likely the master would put him to work in the library. Since the man had found that Heracles had secretarial skills as well as hard labor skills he had been using him in the library when _____ didn't need him.
The man with graying blond hair that Heracles recognized as the master of the house walked in his direction and he quickly bowed his head. The master stopped in front of him so Heracles lifted his gaze slightly, waiting to see if the man had instructions for him.
"Slave, your name is... Heracles, is it not?"
"That is my name sir," Heracles answered, being careful to keep the correct tone of voice and remaining in a stiff stance. But he couldn't help but notice that, apparently, shortness was hereditary in _____'s family. Her father wasn't that short, but he did see
Price of Love- Slave!GreecexRoman!Reader part 9
You groaned slightly and turned to face the plump woman, instantly missing the feeling of Heracles arms around you waist. At least his warmth still lingered on your skin and your clothes as a reminder that it had not, in fact, been a dream at all. Unfortunately the stuttering woman standing at the entrance to the villa was as real as what had just occurred. You knew that even now, as she stood there with her mouth opening and closing like a dying fish, she was making plans to deal with you and Heracles. Your stepmother wasn't always the sharpest of women, but she was expert at dealing with "situations" such as this one. Deep down within you you felt worry begin to bubble. You tried to push it back down, but the problem was you knew that there was apt reason to worry.
"I... Er... I'll leave you alone," was all the woman managed to say before she turned and practically lept down the stairs. Your brows furrowed and you glanced up at Heracles. He was watching the doorway, also

The mixture of rain and sleet slammed onto your skin as the horse pounded through the trees. You did your best to ignore it, instead focusing on navigating the horse through the trees. At first the creature had done very good, and all you really had to do was hang on. Then, the freezing rain started and the horse wanted to go back. So now you had to fight the poor thing to make it keep going.
The rain did give you a good advantage though. It washed away all the traces of your trail, which was one of the only reasons you had kept riding. When the rain stopped you would have to continue on foot and let the horse go its own way. The other advantage was that the enemy would be taking cover until the rain stopped. If you were lucky they might not consider you worth the trouble at all and not bother coming after you. You made a mental note to make some sort of shrine for whatever spirit gave you this good fortune.
As you dodged another tree branch you wondered how long you'd bee
Ya knowI'm a seriously tired of most of the ads on the internet consisting of half naked women :I
Not only is it annoying, but I also find it insulting as a female. You would think that companies (And other parties who may use such images) could think of other ways to get consumers attention. (I mean, what does a girl in a bikini have to do with cars? or something as stupid as soda? :I)
Stuck The car sputtered and shook as it came to an almost silent stop. The engine had gone silent as the horn beeped loudly through the dark night. The orange gas light blinked mockingly at the woman behind the wheel. It was making fun of her; she knew it was making fun of her. Grabbing the black cellular phone on the passenger seat, she looked at it with full intention of calling somebody to come help her.
“Oh, what the hell?!”
The “no service” sign was mocking her at the same exact time. The horn beeped loudly as she slammed her head against it once again. The day was out to get her in general. She had arrived at all her classes late, and her son was sick with the flu. The babysitter was able to watch him as she went to her late night classes. Giving a heavy sigh, she lifted her head off the wheel to look out the window. Drops of water pooled on the windshield as rain started to fall in a pitter-patter pattern. She didn’t quite understand the message th
